I've just seen them recently. Honestly, if they failed to appear on stage, the night would have been just the same. For all I care, they could have stayed at home - completely not impressed.

5 full playback tracks and one live performance (Stand by you, of course) in which i hoped earplugs would start falling from the ceiling - at least two were out of key and had problems following the others. They generally can't carry a tune, some of them don't have any sense for melody dynamics and they are basically swallowing the microphone (which is a characteristic of those without powerful voices...or simply those who like having a big pointy object with a round head in front of their mouth) and their songs are as memorable and specific as last years yellow snow.

So I'll abstain from voting.

I'm not gay, 20 or hormonal. I'm a straight bloke of their age. Well roughly. Sarah and Kimberley are older than me but I'm older than Cheryl, Nadine and Nicola. The last two are a lot younger than the rest.

I'm not gay, 20 or hormonal (well not often) and I'm a woman almost old enough to be their mother, and I think they're wicked :D

<realises that mum-age has arrived :o :( >

should I just give in and buy a daniel beddingfield album now?

They were on e4 today. Something where you win your band (in this case girls aloud) to come and play for your friends and family in your home town.

I doubt they'd have enjoyed playing my home town.

I reckon within the first 3 bars of one of their hits, I'd have chucked a couple of gallons of unleaded over them, and with one flick of the trusty Zippo, transformed the scrawny stroppy songstrels from Girls Aloud to Girls Alight in a matter of seconds!

I told a friend of mine that another friend of mine like girls aloud, we laughed. I then heard a girls aloud song that I liked, I then told this friend that I liked them. His mouth dropped. That was a few weeks ago and last time I looked it was still open.
What is wrong with liking good music?

"Long Hot Summer" should be all over slsk and is damn good. It has Xenomania written all over it but their tricks are not getting boring.

Sound of the underground bassline is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than pop bands have a right to expect. But what about 'Love Machine'? It rules; it should be on the poll.

We could have a "The Show" vs "Love Machine" poll too. Both are awesome obviously, but not quite the earth-shattering awesomeness of "No Good Advice" though.
