Sopranos Finale: SPOILERS!

'they' are.

couple of vague reports - including the fact that the owner of the bada bing says he;s had contacts about them hiring it out again

Any talk of a film was said to be a prequel about Johnny Boy and Junior. They're never going to give people the satisfaction of knowing what happened at the end of S6.

Its blantantly clear that it was left open to viewer interpretation. I'm not sure there is any truth in either saying he died or that he lived, there isn't actually an answer. I think it was an excellent ending - I'm glad they didn't go for the easy option, in the sense of there being a conventional ending, that is some sort of resolution or closure via some sort of clearcut damnation, redemption or atonement.

Unfortunately I've never watched The Sopranos but ........

I came across a YouTube video where some guy analyzed the finale and explained (in his opinion) all the links about the jukebox, Meadows parking the car, the guy in the John, the other diners , etc and explained things about some guys in the diner were in series 2 etc. Although I've never watched it (as I said) it seemed to make perfect sense.

Can't post a link as I'm at work and YouTube is blocked

Having done a little research myself, it seems there are fucking LOADS of analyses like this - kinda tickled me that there are all these people obsessively watching and rewatching episodes/series, and making comparitive notes :D

Innit, the whole point of the ending is that people will be debating it for decades to come :D

Personally I think Tony deserved to be clipped, he was a poor boss.

Ooo, go on, why? I still miss the Sopranos :( Can't believe it took me so long to get into - but then, it was great, cos i watched season after season, and if there's something I like, it's massive instant gratification :D

He was a weak, indecisive boss, he should have clipped Paulie and Christopher seasons ago for disrespecting him. He prevaricated too long when it came to the hard decisions, look at Big Pussy and Vito or the whole situation with Uncle Junior. His mental ill health shows he had problems coping with the stress of his job. His judgement was duff, too many moments of weakness.

Now Phil Leotardo, theres a boss for you :D

Paulie yeh, but Christopher? Nah. Then again, I must confess to a massive smirk when he finally did off him. I was like 'whaaa? no way!' and the LOOK on his face :D That was one of the few scenes I rewound on, several times as it happens. Just to check the back of the seat, you understand ;)

meh phil leotardo was a right slimey cunt. hated him.

and junior? oh now, come on - clipping a fucking boss? you know as well as I do that's just not cricket :D

Thats exactly my point, likeability isnt a desireable quality in an organised crime boss, fear and respect yes :D

He got really big as the series went on, great physical presence.

:p

yeh, definitely - gross, yet commanding, at the same time - you just couldn't help yourself looking at his bulk

Always fantastic casting in the Sopranos, cant think of any characters where I thought the actor was miscast.

That would be ace, I always enjoyed the flashbacks with Johnny Boy and a young Uncle Ju.

mmmm...Adriana was impossibly fit too. She was everything I usually can't stand in a woman - the voice, the hair, the nails - but by the christ she was fit. As was Dr Melfi *melts*

ahem
