    Back in my student days we sneered at this stuff as 'Algo-Crap'.

    Music is about complex acoustic relationships that aren't found in a bunch of numbers much as nerdy people want it to be.

    Interesting the 'TED' speakers starts sounding like an old 1950s Total Serialist. Let's parametise everything, whoopee!

    Not really a revelation though. Except he largely misses the main point of doing this, aside from fun, - public (science, or other) engagement (equals funding, which he does briefly mention).

    it's fun for the time being though. I'll probably look on it with amusement in 5 years time.

    some nice sounds though, really strange drum tracks.
