oh god. children singing. not church choirboy types, cos they're freakishly drilled in it like chinese gymnasts... but normal, state school kids who have rehearsed their little hearts out and are trying their shiny-faced best. i'm a liability at work.

listening to the second side of bowie's low atm, which seems to be bringing a lump to my throat. I guess the clues in the name...
  19. ViolentPanda

    ViolentPanda Hardly getting over it.

    Good thread!
Different songs and tunes at different points in my life, "Atmosphere" by Joy Division used to get the tears flowing because it reminded me, of a friend who ODed.
Probably the tune that consistently has me weeping is The Last Post, though*.

*Awaits anti-military fuckwits telling me it's a symbol of oppression etc.

It depends. Sometimes I can listen to a typical weepy song and feel nothing but other times listen to something up-beat and cry my eyes out.

    But... :D

    The Octagon Stop......Hammertime

Ah yeah, we saw them at Glastonbury (I didn't mind some of their stuff), and the lead singer explained what the song was about before they performed it.

    Hairs on end stuff.

Favelado Oh you've got green eyes.

Sometimes I'm reduced to a wreck by this.

By the way posters. I have posted on here a few times recently, but this is now my new internet home and forum. I used to live in Brixton for a couple of years, and I still love it although I'm a long way from there now. Hope to get to know some of you a little better soon and make a few forum buddies.

Or you can all call me a cunt. Whatever you prefer.
