Freshly squeezed juice is generally expensive, and it wasn't £10 for scrambled egg on toast, it was £10 for scrambled egg on toast, bacon, sausage, tea and juice. Depending on how things are priced, that would all add up. Of course £10 is a lot for breakfast, but I feel I want to defend the Lido cafe because it's bloody good and they're not necessarily expensive in general, depending on what you have. Over the summer they had good deals on salads and so on. Everything I've had there has been lovely, really high quality food.
