The thing is though that those men, whilst highly unpleasant and the like, represent no long term real threat. I would guess that the likes of MI5, Special Branch and other assorted intelligence agencies would have been snapping away and maybe even putting together all sorts of bits and pieces.
Perhaps there is an arguement for making sure these events do happen as its a chance for those who live under whatever nasty stones they do to come into the light and be recognised as such. I have long suspected that the British far-right has been infiltrated by the Intelliegence services to such a large extent that its able to defuse what could potentially be something much more nasty than it is.
Lets be honest I would imagine that many in the Antifa movement have a little egg on their faces because this event happened without them having knowledge of it.
I tend to agree here.
Since my intention is to reduce the possibility of the BNP getting anywhere near government rather than indulging in some sort of cathartic violent activity against a dehumanised enemy then I would rather let them Come into the open and be thoroughly infiltrated by MI5 rather than the own goal of having anti fascists shown as the violent ones and 'peacefull nationalists' actually being on the side of the police
being against fascism is a good thing but thinking that anything is allowed is poor strategy.
