Some wanker nicked my favourite hat.

It was on the table beside me one moment, I caught something moving out of the corner of my eye & it was gone!

Get one of these, imagine how cool you'll look walking down the street.

I prefer to look slightly inconspicuous in my hats. :)

I did a double take, then a WTF moment when I realised it was gone. The thief had melted into the crowd in the club.

This was after several malts & some champagne too.

The walk home was a tad chilly too - Especially when I stipped to watch the ice-floes on the river.

Took a while for feeling to return to my head when I got home. :(

Maybe you shouldn't take it off at all! I know you won't feel the benefit, but at least you won't keep losing them. :(

You and hats are not the best union are you? :(

You love hats and they leave you....harsh, hat, humble, healthy, heavenly, hurtful, honourable, HAHAHAHAHA, HEHEHEHEHE, hunky, huffle, hassle happening.
Those are just a few of the 'H' words that I thought of when I read your unfortunate HAT experiences. :)

Or a jacket with more pockets. I can fit loads of stuff in my barbour.

It was my smart jacket - Less pocketage than either of the ones I'd wear day to day.

Besides - A Barbour in a club might have been a tad overdressed?

I also found out later that someone was ejected for stealing clothes that night. One lad had his jacket & hat nicked & had to walk home in a close-fitting, powder blue & white striped t-shirt!

Not seen anything in town yet. :(

Been seriously hat hunting this afternoon & no luck yet. The only one I really liked was way too small. :(

Why don't you just buy another one of the one you had to buy last year?? Or come down for a visit and have a shufty in Chic's shop. He's got lots of hats. Shall I look for you?

You do know that when you're looking you won't find one don't you? ;)

Of course I know that! I'm hoping to creep-up on one unawares. ;)

Went into one shop where I'd noticed several good hats a while back, to be told "Oh, we sold them all & only have these" as he gestured to a rack of miserable droopy-looking beanies. :(

If I could I would but that shop is stocking a different line now & I don't like any of them.

And it has happened again!!!!

Was photographing a band last night, so I checked my coat, scarf and hat into the venue's cloakroom whilst I worked.

At the end of the night, I got my coat and scarf back but they could not find my hat - To say I was fuming is an understatement.

Went down there earlier today for a proper look but there was nobody about. Got through to someone just now and will be going back again tomorrow.

Took me ages to find that hat and many people have commented on just how well it suits me! :(

You are clearly going to have to start buying rubbish, unstylish hats that no-one wants to swipe!

I've had my turquoise balaclava with knitted flowers around the ears for years....

people are terrible for hat swiping. Once had a hat swiped off my head in a nightclub, said girl disappeared with it. I didn't follow, thinking no one is daft enough to take someone's hat off their head unless they're intending to give it back. An hour or so later, fuming, I encountered the hat thief, repossessed my hat, she was surprised when I called her a fucking thieving twat.

There's no point asking what hat you should buy if no-one knows what you look like surely?

Oh, and I reckon Stella nicked it, she's a fucker for hats.

I know what he and the hat look like, so do soj, Shirl and a few others. If you came north for a visit you would too(not the hat now obviously)

I had another one the other day. FOUND IT at Temple tube. It was raining and the hat was already wet
