Solidarity with greek anarchists and respect to murdered alexandros

An international day of action as been called for this 20th. Does anyone know the specifics beyond that?

“We don’t forget, we don’t’forgive” – day of internationalaction against state murders, 20 – 12 - 2008

Today (Friday), the assembly of the occupied Athens Polytechnic decided to make a callout for European and global-wide actions of resistance in the memory of all assassinated youth, migrants and all those who were struggling against the lackeys of the state. Carlo Juliani; the French suburb youths; Alexandros Grigoropoulos and the countless others, all around the world. Our lives do not belong to the states and their assassins! The memory of the assassinated brothers and sisters, friends and comrades stays alive through our struggles! We do not forget our brothers and sisters, we do not forgive their murderers. Please translate and spread around this message for a common day of coordinated actions of resistance in as many places around the world as possible.

Early this morning, in London, 3 kilograms of red paint were thrown at the entrance of the building in Paddington street where the offices of the Hellenic centre and the Hellenic Bankers Association are. These branches are a part of the murderous – as it has been proven to be – greek state, and the red paint shows exactly that.

was a joint demo with turkish kurdish demonstration against state violence and also borders the largest greek area in britain ;)

i have to say, i think that the outright aggression occuring in israel and palestine is much more in need of solidarity and resolution atm.
this was before pauli .. though tbh while i agree a response re gaza is needed what is happenning in greece has a potential to be very positive in a way gaza does not seem to at the moment :(

Sorry for digging up this last year's thread, but this poster is of a solidarity event that is relevant to what happened in Greece last year, and the demos of this December. You can find more information on the world politics forum thread :)
