If you can get a cheap leather jacket from a charity shop you could cut chaps outta it, bootlace tie = bootlace = cheap, kids cowboy hat=cheap I'd guess(poundland may be your friend)

1. because I've always secretly wanted to be a cowboy *ahem* :o
2. because one of my favourite bands in the world are playing and I think it would be an apt costume
3. i want to annoy people with my cap gun :)

I'm thinking charity shops anyway...and I have a hat already

Making the chaps is gonna be fun. I'm shit at owt like that

If you can't think of owt, you could be my Wicked Felina, of El Paso fame :D It would probably involve a black wig, lippy, and a mexican dress (whatever the fuck that might be - I'm making it up as I go along here:D)

I've been on the solfest boards all morning - hardly anyone's managed to get a ticket. Apparently 135 have been sold so far, all by phone - according to admin

I've done fuck all all morning apart from post on there, and ring the number. Had to take the day off work - my boiler's leaking, apparently ;)


site's meant to be back up after 3. we'll see
 
Yes - Just checked the boards. 25 pages of ranting ticketless members! :eek: :D

My boss is putting-in a rare appearance this afternoon, which I bet will be around 3! :mad:

there was a bit of blitz spirit going on earlier, but it's deteriorated a bit now, with talk of sending vicious emails, mobs with burning torches raiding the tixmob offices etc

most members online ever apparently :D

He's just sent me an email cancelling. Maybe he is trying to book tickets too?

I was going to try phoning for tickets but haven't got the number. Has anyone here got it? I PM'ed soj but she's not replied, she's obviously not here 'cos she's trying to get onto the solfest site :rolleyes:

i was on the booking tickets page - which then crashed. again. for the 4th time of me actually getting onto that page

Phone lines shut at 5pm so it's just down to trying to buy on line now :mad: I wish I wasn't so keen to go.
Soj, it's all your fault for telling everyone how good it is :p

nope phone lines are meant to be open til 8

but then, there were meant to be 30 phone lines...and i've been redialling alllllll fucking day. bollocks there's 30 phone lines

i know - i'm desperately trying to think of who i told about it, so i can go and kill them in the face :D

i've been THAT close to getting the tickets, then the page crashes

The web site is now down til 8am tomorrow :mad:
 
Solfest ticket site now up & running before the stated 8am start displayed on the Solfest website, tickets purchased - WOOHOO!!
