Socks with toes? WTF?

I can't stand my toes touching, this is why I rarely wear socks or shoes. When at rest, there is a distinct gap between each of my toes. When I was a teen, I used to put ciggie filters (unused) between my toes to keep them apart. I feel in some way, these socks (and the equally weird shoes) are designed for oddballs like me.

They certainly keep toes from rubbing off each other.

What what.

Surely someone else feels this way. I can't be the ONLY oddbod on the boards.

But yea, just the thought of them touching is bad enough. Snowboarding is a nightmare for me.
I am your opposite. One of my greatest habits of contentment is to wiggle my toes against each other when reclining on the sofa or in bed. A bit like how you click your fingers, except more like rubbing than forceful clicking. But busy toes frictioning against each other? Yes please. Busy toes are happy toes.

These are a pair of my son's much loved shoes, in fact other than his skateboarding shoes it's the only other pair he has. He usually goes barefootIMG_20220204_182249514~2.jpg
