Aren't the SWP CC currently a ruling elite - within their party? Same bunch of mostly middle class men in charge for decades. doesn't say much for their ambitions vis a vis wider society tbh.

Isn't it the SWP CC? And how would anyone know what their true intention? And is it just the CC that is the elite not the wider party or the full timers? And does it apply equally to other socialist CCs or is it unique to the SWP? Does it matter? Having been a member of the SWP for over 18 years, 1985-2004, I can say with some conviction that the central concern of the SWP is ensuring the continuing supply of both new elbow patches for their brown leather jackets, and providing them with fresh student pussy every freshers fayre season.
