So why no Millwall thread ?

Yeah - personally I think football's all about rivalries. As I said, I'd like it if millwall were in the same division as us more often.

On the other hand, when we lost 4-1 to them when we were down in the fizzy pop, was probably the lowest point (results wise) in the last 10-20 years for us...

This is going to sound odd, but I'd actually like Millwall to be in the Premiership.

Every other Premiership team pretty much has a really big rival in the Prem. Millwall are our true rivals and we hardly ever get to play them. I mean, I know we look forward to playing Tottenham, but they don't see it as as big a game as we do.

Millwall-West Ham on the other hand is one of the fiercest rivalries in Britain...

i'm sure you'll be playing in the same division next season

personally, i don't like all this 'this is the lower league thread.. this is the championsip thread...this is the liverpool thread, this is the spurs thread...blah blah blah!' makes this forum a little dull in my eyes

so there's nothing up yourself about starting a thread on a particular subject

that was my point though

Millwall scabbed yes ?

The Sunderland/NUFC thing is a bit sad these days - I know it goes waaay back to the English Civil war originally - I dont really care if Sunderland do well, just not at NUFCs expense - rather like England / Scotland - Indeed, I have a bit of respect for Quinn comin in and sorting the place out

I do like to see a Local small club doing well without having millions thrown at it

The odd thing about the Wall is that you dont see many adults wearing the shirts at games - seems to be kids mostly

That's not odd at all. I was saying to strung_out on our way to the game the other night how weird it is to look at all the Chelsea/Arsenal/whoever fans on telly wearing their identikit outfits. Most people at Rovers don't wear shirts to the game, a lot of those that do wear ones that are up to 15 years out of date sometimes!

As for historic rivalries - Rovers/c*ty goes back to Gloucestershire/Somerset and arguably even Wessex/Mercia (debatable that one). There's a psychological divide across the city that's translated into football rivalry.

Does Kenny Jackett still play players in every position but their own? And is Adrian Forbes still awful?

God I'm glad those two are no longer at Swansea.

Not many classic shirts from the 90s, most of them were shite :D

Aye.

We had this horrid barcode one 93/94:

I liked the 89/90 one:
