So, whos going to watch Jacko's memorial?

Saw a bit of it and thought it was a reasonably fitting tribute. Brooke Shields was the only one I heard mention his child 'Blanket' (what sex is that child btw?) someone else I heard refer to his children mentioned the 2 others by name and not Blanket - it is a ridiculous name though lets face it poor kid.

I think they are:

Prince Michael (oldest)
Paris Michael (girl)
Prince Michael II (Blanket)

Fo' serious

oh, his/her proper name isn't Blanket?

for some reason i wish it was - not for the poor kid, but just for the bizarrness.

It's quite high concept that there are Prince Michael and Prince Michael II though. Can't quite get my noggin around that.

Right oh :hmm: .......it does make you wonder. Was there really only MJ in MJ's world? I mean the guy was quite some egomaniac wasn't he?

Yes. I think it's safe to say that :D

That's why it's all been so 'special' though - in some ways he was pretty good and lots and lots of people bought it.

I'm not sure I like where this is leading......so were his claims to be full of love for everyone and wanting to help people just an act when all he was really interested in was more publicity and adoration for himself :hmm:

Did any corny f*cker come out with the inevitable "Heaven must be having a fantastic gig now, Jimi, Elvis, Bob (Marley), Keith (Moon), John Lennon and now Michael" thinking about it though surely half of those bad buggers will be seranading Ol Beelzebub....
.

It would have been worth it if they'd made the old 'and of course the drummer from Def Leppard's disembodied arm is playing backup percussion' quip.

:D

Not neccessarily :D I think he was a very fucked up man and I don't see how anyone can disagree. He had the weirdest life and it's not a surpise that he was fucking odd.

That doesn't mean to say that he didn't sincerely care about other people, that he didn't seriously care about his career and he didn't probably seriosuly make some terrible terrible mistakes and get away with them.

Only caught the package on the main news but it didn't seem any wierder than, say, Diana. Which is weird enough.

They do love a microphone, that family.

I did LOL when Brooke Shields mentioned Blanket. :D

Mrs.Griff was in tears at the end, for some bizarre reason. :hmm:

I found the whole thing sickening.

A polite summing up of MJ

Hmm, good article in parts, but he hasn't really done his homework -

The boy's information was so accurate he was able to locate where the splotch moved to when Jackson's penis became erect and the fact that he was circumcised

Except he wasn't circumcised (being a Jehovah's Witness) and that particular discrepancy was one of Jackson's strongest defence arguments.

Reporter fail.

Never going to fuckin end is it?even when they bury him or whatever they do with Jehovah Witnesses it'll be like Elvis x 100 :(,never going to be an end like when most famous peops die.

"He went on to say, unchallenged, how there were different Michaels and that he wanted to remember "the Michael who made Thriller and Off the Wall". There were also, presumably, different Hitlers. Some people might like to remember the Hitler who reunited Germany and brought back full employment. Not the later Hitlers, with their "attendant problems". The problem is that people keep on bringing up all the bloody stuff that these other later, more troublesome, Hitlers did. You can probably make a claim for several different Peter Sutcliffes, one of whom was a model employee who was very nice to his mother."

I do find mindless hero worship bizzare, not talking about being sad that some-one you liked and admired has died but this whole whinging and bawling in front of the cameras  as for some of the over the top shit written about Jackson, jeeze.
