so whats the best nirvana album

For some reason I never got round to listening to Bleach at the time. Just been listening on spotify the last few weeks - fantastic album. Not many bands come close to them.

As an observation I can't see much wrong with the drumming on Bleach, which makes me wonder why they sacked the bloke.

I think In Utero is probably the best but I never listen to it any more because it's just too fucking bleak. Don't rate Albini's production either. There's a couple of tracks where I'd have sent Kurt back in and told him OK, that was a decent rehersal, now fucking play it properly.

I tend to listen to Incesticide the most out of all them.

I wasn't into bleach when it came out, I thought it sounded heavy metal as I recall. I did like never mind though, thought it was choc full of bangers. Now never mind sounds pretty bland. I think I prefer the rawness of bleach. In utero was never in the running. Stodgy, muddy horrible recordings and probably only one half decent song.
