Sziget again!
can't add much to Etnea excellent summary of Sziget except to say i will definitely be going back next year too. even with the flights it was very cheap, it was friendly, safe and had quite a variety of music.. not a huge number of big name acts but they made up for this by having a huge tent of non-stop heavy metal (where we saw Saxon
)
maybe because it is seven days long and lots of locals just pop in for an evening or two it is fairly laid back and doesn't have the madness of glasto and hardly any really trashed people stumbling around or passed out. but it does have some glasto style magic that everyone (artists, audience and staff) are all really pleased to be there and feel like they are part of something special.
and Budapest is a beautiful city to visit in any case.. going to the thermal baths whilst high is great way to refresh yourself after staying out partying all night.
) you just have to go to the dance tent and be persistent in asking around.
the Spiegel tent that PRoD was in at glasto was at Sziget as the big gay tent with equally bad music selection policy
and what other festival has a wet t-shirt contest every night ??
not that we saw that or the hungarian headline rock band Sex Action who have topless dancers as part of their act.

in the end it wasn't that hard to find pills, (though we were a bit caught out by how strong they wereetnea said:Sziget - Getting drugs seems to be virtually imposisble, although I wasn't really looking tbh - friends got some after much searching
