So, new Buzzcocks

Heh. What I've enjoyed most about this thread is the way you refer to most of them by their surnames... as if you were all in the sixth form common room discussing classmates. :)

Except certain ones like Rod Stewart... they get the whole name check. It's class!

:D

imo Fielding didn't really hit his stride the way he did when he was on it last year (or whenever it was), but I expect he'll get into it more over the next few episodes. The guy from the Cribs was really funny though, not sure why so many people don't like him.

I love him! Anything he says is automatically funny 'cause of his voice. (Not his accent per se, just his voice in general.)

he seemed sweet enough, nothing to dislike, but he's not the sharpest knife in the draw is he? :)

having just watched it, i thought last week's was one of the funniest ever, or maybe more correctly one of the "jesus fuck, I can't believe Amstell just said that" ever.

all that stuff about Jermaine having work done, cos he doesn't look anything like Michael.. :)

This is the worst Buzzcocks I've ever seen :(

That quiz show gimmick?? Wtf!?

And Chegwin has that irritatingly positive air of the recovered addict to the nth degree. I want to kill him.

Yeah, this one wasn't too good.
I think it's ruined when there's someone too ludicrous and annoying who you just cringe and feel sorry for.

(And I don't mean Cheggers, I mean the twat in the hat.)

NDubz are not a joke - just watched a YouTube vid. Hip Hop, "this one's going out to the backstabbers", girls in jacuzzis, dog fights, "used to wear nike now it's Gucci" etc etc etc.

But really low rent. Quite entertaining actually :D

But last weeks set the bar so high...Fielding on form, brilliant guests. This week's panellists were crap...no comedy potential really.

Fielding at least started to become funny as the show went on, but that twat in the hat...oh dear oh dear.

probably the first time I have watched a new episode of Buzzcocks, and not known if I could be bothered to watch to the end. To be perfectly honest, cheggers was the most engaging person there, which is just dismal.

That is unfortunate. You should have watched last week's. It was fantastic!
I enjoyed last week, but it does seem like the format is sagging somewhat.

Much as I like Noel Fielding, he's no replacement for Bill Bailey. Agree with the previous comments that Phil J seems to be rather bored with it all. I liked Simon Amstell as a replacement for Mark Lamarr, but again, he seems to be running out of steam a bit.
