I met him at glastonbury a couple of years back. He was just stood watching some jazz band but he greeted every pleb who came up to say 'you're that Phil Jupitus aren't you?' as if they were his best mate in the world; all shaking hands and chatting and recommending bands to go and see. It takes a special kind of lovely bloke to act like that I reckon

Still the show stands or falls on the strength of the guests (ie their potential for being laughed at). Kimberley Stewart was game but not particualrly witty or entertaining.

It was bum last night I thought. Really slow, no zip. That bloke form Wakefield *yawn* Noel Fielding is quite good though. Got an 'I'm a slightly retarded 12 yr old so I'll be quite rude but you'll forgive me' -vibe about him.

I saw Jupitus at UEA in 1992 or 93 or something, supporting Lamaar. He walked onto the stage and said "Two fat blokes went into a pub...me and me dad, we had a great time"

Simon is DEFINTELY WRONG about this', whole audience either still going 'ooo', panel falling apart etc.
