So finally, I have a guitar.....

Clearly you can now play guitar! Well done.

Are you sticking to finger picking classical - or are you feeling like branching out?

I'm not that great at finger picking. There's a couple of different patterns I can do fairly proficiently, but nothing too complicated.

Yes I wrote that...it's only half finished mind...:o Thanks for kind words though.

I have a few more that are semi-finished too so I might post another one at some point.

This one and one other have lyrics too but I am not quite ready to post the all singing and playing vids yet:hmm:

The classical/Spanish finger picking style does really chime with me quite deeply but I am also working on different struming styles and patterns.

Here is my humble collection of guitars :



:D They just keep turning up and moving in ;)

I have given one away now to a friend who needed one but still have 2 classical/Spanish nylon stringed, 1 steel stringed acoustic and a lovely old Ibanez electric...

I have been playing one of the nylon stringed much more recently as I like it's 3/4 body and full size neck.

ive not played in ages. dog hates the guitar, scares it silly, and the other half doesn't like me playing...have to do somethinhg about it, i miss my guitar!
 
Good work Rutita1,

I have never seen a person document their falling in love with the guitar before and you have come a long way. You have proven that it's never too late to learn and you obviously were serious when you got your first guitar in 2007. Your collection is growing and the video with you on the Nylon sounds great.

10 out of 10 for saying and doing, You have defo been bitten by the bug, good effort you can now call yourself a guitarist.

I'm almost too :o to say I don't know how to post stuff up. :D Yep, I know I could put something on youtube, just don't have a camera/webcam. How do people put stuff on the other 'post your tunes' thread? Stick them on some site and then link to it? No way of putting stuff on urban direct presumably? :o
