You need to kind of 'tuck' each finger in behind each other. The fingers shouldn't be in a straight row like you're doing the scout salute.

Or maybe get a giant guitar.

Just takes practice. Stick at it. At some point you'll just go **POW!** and you've got it.

Last night was typical for me. About 1.5 hours of Hse of the Rising Sun and the 'oldies progression' (G, Em, C, D)

I'm working on having a fast, accurate, strumming version by a few weeks time. In fact that's another major part of the learning curve - it takes a while to start hitting the right strings on non-open chords.

Am without the second finger in the middle. Not sure what chord this is.

Then E.

Then Dm and fiddle about up there a bit, then home to Am without the middle finger.

Slowly like, in 4, and hold the second and fourth strums. Lovely.

I'd like to learn Lay Lady Lay.

As many as you like, in any order you like. They're just chord families, so make you own progressions from them. Glad they were useful

What's underneath is the finger positioning according to which fret. So if you're familiar with A, A sus 4 is moving your third finger down to the third fret iyswim
