Great hostel by the way, live bands in the bar, feckin huge, cheap as chips, 'confession room' on the top floor loads of partying etc

That is the snow on in the north of Aberdeen. Big heavy flakes! A bit of hail earlier in the day as well & there was light snow up Deeside & Donside yesterday.

How is the rest of the country? I see a cold snowy spell forecast for most of the East Coast in the next few days?

and its pretty deep getting not forecast to stop until early hours monday morn. im takin dug awalk after breakfast and gonna grab some snaps!

some nightclubs where open for stranded people last night as taxis etc gave up. reported approx 3000...... hey glad i could walk and have a snowbaw fight!

Yep, snow here - IN LEITH!! Never settles here usually as I'm so close to the sea, but it is today. About 4 inches here so goodness knows what its like further west (where my work is).

I'm keeping fingers crossed that work is closed tomorrow (but knowing my luck I bet it's not).

Just checked bbc website and weather for edinburgh is to clear up by 6 tonight, but i'll rely on looking out the window just to be sure.

Queens park in glesga, never saw so many people oot sledgin at one time in ma life! cannae wait til the wains auld enuff next time (if) i get the chance again for this on ma doorstep!
