Saw them at Reading 94 - sucked. Corgan's voice wasn't up to much and it didn't come across.

Saw them a few years later after Mellon Collie, when they did an acoustic, followed by full electric set at Brixton Academy. Corgan was on fire, it was totally amazing. They milked the fans for all they were worth with self-indulgence, but, dammit, they just about got away with it.

Apart from that bit where they played the opening bars to Fire Starter (the Prodj riding high in the charts at that time), a sharp intake of anticipatory breath from the audience followed by a dissapointed groan when it turned into a piss take.
