Yes, he was one of the worst. He apparently drove Lynsey de Paul to the brink of suicide.

I got some of the tales from people in the business who dealt with him.
There were a few heavy types that you didn't mess with, like the Gunnel brothers who had The Flamingo.
Arden didn't ever push his luck there.
