SLR newbie

I've got a set of Nikkors which I've been told I can't use on the Nikon DSLRs.
who told you this?

How old / obscure are your nikkors? there are a few that don't, but they're very obscure. One of the best things about Nikon's DSLRs over Canon is that old Nikon Manual lenses fit Nikon DSLrs mount. Fuck all canon FD fits canon EOS/DSLR?? :mad:

:confused::confused::confused:

IIRC they're usually unconverted non-AIS lenses, so they're not exactly "obscure"

With several provisos about limited functionality.

Then again, Canon did make clear, 20 years ago now, that they were making a "clean break" from the FD mount.
And you can, IIRC, buy FD-EOS converters if you don't mind stop-down metering.
