At first glance that pic looks well odd. But ok if you're sat snuggled on the couch I guess.

I think you can electric ones of those , that you plug in and are heated.

You obviously cant go very far in them though :D

I dont wear slippers but opt for thick nonslip bedsocks instead.

Mostly I go barefoot, but, when it gets real cold (like now!) I love thick, soft Slipper socks(think Totes).
At moment I have a fleece type pair of pale blue ones with green and purple spots on them.

Ooh that reminds me, i bought the most amazing pair of stupidly thick wooly socks from Waterlooplain market in Amsterdam a few years back, but I lost them. :(

They were sooo warm and comfy.

Black leather mules are the way to go. Elegant, understated and they make treading on the upturned plug prongs slightly more bearable.

I've got two pairs

Me too. I wans't a slippers person until this year! I was given some white towelling flip-flop type ones and they are ace. I've also aquired some 'closed toe' white towelling ones (stolen from my mum probably) for the winter.

They are essential if one doesn't hoover often and doesn't want to put hair and crumbs into ones bed. Ahem.

I think the high 'Yes!' vote is by the old folks, who are the only ones not looking at this thread and thinking 'Slip-perz?' like the young folks are :(

I love my slippers. Nice soft furry ones with a rubber sole. Useful to stop cat sick squidging between my toes when one of them has left a little deposit next to my bed during the night. And good for going out to the garden / bin when its been raining without getting soggy socks. Slippers are great

I don't really wear thenm as my house is so hot, but I do have a pair of Andrex puppy slippers that I wear when I'm stomping about as my hard floors makes my feet dirty - and the dog likes to bite their heads off   :D

Indeed. I've considered it a couple of times, then sighed and gone through the lengthy process of putting on socks and shoes. Had a little cry of frustration, then gone down the shops.

Why :(

mine are the best ever. i bought them last winter in a camping shop. They're like little boots, all furry inside, mucccch classier than ugg boots. Ugg boots look like slippers to me anyway,.

I have gotten used to wearing orthaheel flip flops in the summer as they provide excellent arch support for my feet. I am reluctant to give up my flip flops and decided to try wearing them with my tabi socks. They look weird but they are warm, comfortable and my feel feel great!

I've worn slippers as long as I can remember. I've got a pair of green, red and midnight blue stripey ones now.

WANT!

I had some a bit like that as a kid, I loved them I did. I never could find any that matched up to them. They were red and white (and maybe blue and green too) and Christmas themed  They were my slippersocks. Slippers should always cover your ankles (or cankles in my case) as well as your feet - otherwise everything gets too draughty :(

But please, don't make me shop at gap
