I like skimmed milk.

I remember when we went from full fat to semi when I was a kid. It took ages to get used to it.

Same going from semi to skimmed - took a while but now I prefer it to semi and feel unhealthy if we have to have semi coz there's no skimmed left at the supermarket or whatever...
Anything you have to persist with to become used to it enough to eat/drink is not worth eating or drinking.

I don't know anybody who liked beer the first few times. Or red wine. There are loads of acquired tastes in food too.

Once you've got used to skimmed milk all the others taste a bit fatty, unsurprisingly.

I didn't like oat milk at first but have completely switched and find it far nicer than any cow's milk.
However it's not really milk more watery strained oat drink.

I only have "milk" on cereal or made into custard, but I'll also swig it out of the carton.
I especially like the way soy milk curdles when you stir it into apple sauce.
A rather calorific habit for me is to stir custard powder into apple sauce, then add unsweetened soy.

I like whole milk, unhomogenised and in a large container. Opened carefully, the thick cream can be poured off into a jug and used for cooking or in coffee, and the rest used as normal, it's not to be overdone as it is more thick and tasty than skimmed, just use less. Oh yeah, its organic too, so cows fed on natural field grass.

Back in the 80s when soy milk first appeared in the shops, I used to dilute it - I seem to recall it came in smaller cartons...
