Skanky budget foods that rock your world

:o

I am a sucker for these too.
Some soopermarkets are doing the Herta 4 Jumbo Frankfurters on BOGOF for £2.19 which suckered me in on the last shop.

The tricky thing is finding a decent roll to have them in. Although I have been know to chop them and fry up with onions and potatoes for the win.

Bloody hell, where do you get tinned mackerel for that price? I do that a lot and I've always paid over a quid a tin, which kind of moves it out of the budget meal range.

I think it's around 50-55p a tin in Aldi. Definitely sub 60p

Forgot to mention I use the stuff in tomato sauce.

I like to do the £1 meal challenge at work and it's well under.

Baked Bean sarnies. Loads of it drops out on the floor but just rub it into the lino with your Bacons 3 for a fiver plimsole init

Sainsbury's sandwich filler cans of tuna, sweetcorn and mayo - 3 for £1.50. Mix into pasta with some pesto and cheese = nice filling meal for about a quid.

Spread Cheese. Smoked Cheese. Noodles. Rookworst. Heinz beans with mini sausages.

Oh look at me with my HEINZ beans, and why not add some mini sausages to them just to rub our coal and smash covered noses in it eh? I suppose you think you can go around here with all your bling talk cos you think we’re all to poor to be able to read it anyway, but let me tell you something mr Richard fucking Heinz beans with mini sausages Branston pickle, just because you can afford this posh grub, doesn’t make you any better than us. We are people too you know and our LIDL lentils with ketchup and skinned cockroaches is as good as your Heinz shit any day!!

And has the Heinz boycott been lifted then? I've been boycotting them since that furore about capitulating to a bunch of homophobic religious conservative Americans and pulling an advert that featured a guy kissing another guy.
