Skanky budget foods that rock your world

Use to be Tesco 8p noodles but I think they are now 9p or something.

Oooooh I could tell you about noodles! In fact I will.

Whitechapel Sainsbury's had them for 7p, they're now 10p!
Holborn Sainsbury's for 10p, they're now 15p!

15p!

I sometimes give the kids a tube of Pringles instead of dinner, its like a meal in itself.

Lard coated in sugar goes down a treat for pud as well.

I like the value tinned new potatoes
Generally are served with something else though
Not really a meal in themselves

Rustlers microwave 1/4lbers, or the even cheaper Feasters brand.

I think feasters are better than rustlers-less chewy. I really want waffles for lunch but my bezzer is asleep on my sofa as she's on nights and the oven sets the smoke alarm off. :( I'll have to have toast and a toffee crisp instead.

In my defence my arm was in plaster casts and splints for a lot of that time, and in between surgeries, it hurt too much to bash and mash spuds. :p

No idea what NVP's excuse is though! :D

None needed. Stick enough butter and milk in, bit of salt and pepper and Smash is ace. Fact! :D

Peeling potatoes is for lossers. :p

one of my favoutire "meals" as a kid was smash with chopped up ham

Smash is awesome, but the girlfriend never lets me make it. When we moved in here, my housemates girlfriends was shocked that we made our own mash as she 'didn't realise you could make it with real potatoes'. Bless.

I just had the lunchtime special from the chinese..........chip, flied lie and curry saw  Fucking ace it was.

I used to love Ramen noodles, I'm allergic now. I'd buy them 24 for $3. You know they arn't real food though when you get a mouse infestation and they refuse to eat any.
