Saw them both nights they played Belle Vue Elizabethan Ballroom back in 1977. I think the first night was on the same bill as the Buzzcocks, Penetration and John Cooper Clarke; the second night, if I remember correctly, with the Clash, Buzzcocks and John Cooper Clarke. It was fucking ace.

JuJu still gets a playing here every now and then. The Creatures stuff too from about that time. John McGeoch was a fantastic guitarist, my favorite from that era. Saw them a couple of times.
