the roles have gone downhill since shaun of the dead. he's not that funny any more.

as much as i'd love to do rude things to simon pegg, i'm beginning to wonder whether he's actually any good as an actor. he's not been particularly convincing recently.

I really don't think Pegg can act, he plays himself well, but whenever he tries to do something a bit away from who he really is it fails miserably.

Would be a terrible choice for Scotty.

IMDB is not showing him on there though so maybe it's not happening after all, but Eric Bana has been confirmed as the bad guy.
