You may be right - I don't know, but I DO know that there are Igbos who BELIEVE that Britain encouraged the secession. I'm told that some Biafrans thought Britain was on their side and for that reason they would win. The ex-colonial power would prevent their defeat. Hoh! How wrong they were!
