and everyone being achingly 'trendy'![]()

It wasn't particularly trendy when I was there. Just a regular kind of crowd.and everyone being achingly 'trendy'![]()
*basques in my aching trendiness*

You'll give yourself basqueache with your trendiness if you aren't careful.![]()

I meant basks didn't I?
It must be my trendiness taking over my brain.

I assumed you were talking about the north of Spain, you separatist.![]()
For years I thought they were Vast Separatists. Like really, really separate.
It was worth queuing. I'm very glad I went. Great photos as ever, paolo999.Great pics, i'd never queue for that long i must say. Great venue, had a really old world damp smell too which i liked.
I love the smell too - Chislehurst Caves is like damp mecca catnip to me - luckily my pots and pans cupboard smells like this too when i need a hit!had a really old world damp smell too which i liked.
Chislehurst Caves

The Old Abattoir in Clerkenwell strikes me as having a very similar vibe - it's currently hosting Guerrilla Zoo's Panic.
)Does anyone remember when that venue used to host The Warp Experience.
Now that was a good night out.
What does this actually mean, it was popular with people you don't like?It definitely got increasingly trendy as it went on to the point of full aching status.

At first, the crowd seemed to be normal people having a laugh then it gradually morphed into a room full of haircuts posing. The way these things always do. Maybe I am just getting old (I am definitely getting old).

I certainly remember Warp but I think it was actually in the space occupied by the SE1 if I remember rightly? It was a car park in the daytime.
Those arches under London Bridge are vast, I have been to various events (including a big squat party, a play, a weekly Juggling club) in different parts. There are quite a few entrances, in the tunnels and on the street so you do get a bit disorientated.
