Should we change the sports forum?

Well, it was my secret yen for more of your poker threads that prompted me to respond.

Couldn't we have a subforum with the premiership teams listed so that those who want to indulge in commenting on their own team, they could go there?

You could have a separate thread for the Premiership in total, and the Championship etc.

The same could be done for other sports if they are popular enough, but this would clear the way for a more general sports forum as well as allowing a place for dedicated fan comments.

I usually only pay attention to football threads in the sports forum, so it'd save me valuable seconds of browsing time if irrelevancies like rugby, cricket, snooker, volleyball, moono, and golf were shunted off elsewhere.

I'm only interested in non-football threads, so would save me panning torrents of dross looking for the nuggets of gold.

I don't mind as sport is clearly the only sport really worth debating makes sense to seperate the wheat from the chaff

Saying that not a huge fan of the forum within forum thingy going on....like them all in front of me rather than go in to go in though sometimes it does show on the main board...too techie....

in any case how come chess is in this forum, though we decided that in no way was it a sport

1) for people who support real teams.

2) for people who support their local team.

3) for people who don't support their local team.

I think we should merge forums inappropriately. Have sports and fashion as one board, transport and UK politics, Travel and nobbin, etc.
