I'd actually love to have time to catch the train and really explore Lancashire with a camera, a pushbike and a notebook. I reckon that would be as interesting as going to Malaysia or Singapore or wherever....

Yeah, when (if :rolleyes:) I get my motorbike, I'm dead set touring england on it, maybe scotland and ireland too, that kind of deal except I cba pushbiking it cos I'm too lazy. :(

I really fancy the sailing thing though. Anyone read the Lonely Planet "Once When Travelling" book? About how it all started? One of the things they did was crew a yacht from SE Asia to Australia, they did the immigration stuff standing on the beach with 1 bloke. Fucking awesome
