What exactly's "sinister" about it? It's a fair description of holding a murderer in lock-up for 10-15 years then releasing him.

And yes, I'd like to see murderers hanged, but only after they've been convicted by the unanimous consent of a jury. Given that the alternatives are either warehousing until death or release after a decade or so with a promise to be nice and not to murder again (which is broken a few times every year) I think it's the best solution in this imperfect world.

I think that is barbaric and inhumane. The only party I know that advocates the death penalty for murder is the BNP. Are you a supporter of theirs by any chance?
