Could someone please explain to me the red scarves that people put on their dogs.

Slightly more seriously, it's quite common for folks to tie a wet bandana around their dog, which helps to cool down pooch on a hot day. Come to think of it, the two folks I know use red bandanas, mainly because I suspect it's the default colour for most cheap bandanas...

They probably belong to a gang. I've seen loads of black kids lately wearing red bandanas as well, all in a gang. At Brocky on Sunday, one of the kids had her bandana tied round her leg (or does that mean something I don't know about?)

As for the red, i just dont know, personally, Bruce hates that colour, he's more for bright cheerful rainbow (gay pride) colours.
