Should I buy a bag?

I like this one, I don't understand the appeal of any of the others, like 98% of the ones in the shops at the moment.

I have to confess, I have that bag.. I bought it from the lady herself at her book launch in Selfridges. Really nice event, cakes and wine and complimentary makeovers.. no pressure to buy any bags, they just had some out in case people were interested.

I think it was my most expensive bag purchase though!

I like bags that are a bit unusual - designs, fabrics, colours. Having said that I have one "work horse" bag, the "exclusive to John Lewis" Radley bag.

I've got five LG bags, I'm always being complimented on them :)

I like bags that have a long strap so you can sling them properly across you, and are big enough to put some shopping in.

I was chatting to the owner of a handbag shop the other day and he said to me "I can see that you're someone who values comfort over appearance".

This is true. However it was possibly not that polite of him to say so...

Potential sale out the window!

I prefer the exact opposite to you, Rubes, don't like a bag big enough to fill with crap. As long as it's big enough to fit my purses, keys and phone in, then I'm happy. And I prefer handles - harder for someone to slip their hand in unnoticed, when yer bag is hanging down by your thigh/knee.
