Should Arsenal tube station be renamed?

Maltin said:
You are wrong. Chapman became manager of Arsenal in June 1925. Unfortunately, I don't know who led the campaign to rename the station. I've always read that it was Chapman but that doesn't mean it's true.
so...errm,....he started his campaign the moment he arrived in N5? unlikely, i'd have said.

I agree that Arsenal should keep the name, but don't quite get what the British Empire has to do with it...
it was a rhetorical flourish, to show what a master of the pithy phrase I am.

AREN'T I???

Petition was set up by Chelsea fans, as anyone with half a brain and who doesn't need a toob station named after the team so as to know where to go . . . can see: http://www.petitiononline.com/CFC100/

- see what I did there ? Clever, eh.
yes, that's awfully central to the main theme of this thread, isn't it?
spurs fans have been supporting the petition

p.s. Can any Goons confirm the rumour that Cashburden Grave is on wheels, so as to make the next move around town easier ?
that'll be '2 moves in 93 years, then'
