You are required to have a special license to drive a HGV and also to ride a motorbike (stupid) - why on earth not to drive a tankcar on the road?
What would happen if everyone drove these fookin things? Surely they should pay an extreme amount of tax because of the weight of the vehicle? They must do more damage to the road, plus they are potentialy lethal in the untrained hand. The damage to road surface has to be larger with a heavy vehicle - more weight on the ground, eroding more road surface hence more damage and cost. Tax them at least even if you don't care about the pedestrian road death statistics!
