Shotgun reloaded

i haven't had a hair cut there yet. only waxing as mentioned before.

seems that £30 for a woman s cut is good value these days.

i generally like the little shop when i pass by there (not the name though).

I go to cube too. They are reasonably priced and, even though I only get my hair cut every 2-3 months :o , they remember me and cut how I want (as opposed to what they want...)

I'm a guy and I use Trevor's next door for a tenner a pop, so I can't really advise on Brixton hairdressers that may or may not be better than Shotgun Reloaded (woo-hoo, edgy!). Truth be told it's just the name that gets me. There, I've said it

I’ve yet to find anybody with a positive word to say about the haircut they received at Trevor’s Barber shop other than it was cheap.

I'm slightly amused by the irony that although they advertise “Modern and Traditional” styles on their sandwich board outside the shop, the modernity does not stretch to 21st Century political correctness: They keep their razors in a distinctly unhygienic looking vase of disinfectant with the comforting label: “BARBICIDE, KILLS AIDS”!

i have their recent hair and beauty treatment leaflet here:

women haircut, wash and blow dry = £32

mens = £22

just to be accurate like.. :)

( full leg wax = £26 )

Relaod yourself..

:p Yeah Sean is an amazing hair stylist. If you go there again to have your hair done, tell him Shane McCormack says hi. He may know who I am. He may not...

It's got to be the shittest name for anything, anywhere, ever.

They were going to call it Crack Whore On Methadone but plumped for something more "mainstream".;)

I had my hair done there about 3 weeks ago and had a very nice time indeed. Sean was extremely welcoming - what a nice guy. He did a good job on my hair - although I did get bullied by a certain internet oligarch over the somewhat "rock-chick" hue... :D i also thought for a woman's cut it was pretty cheap. I also had a waxing (fucking hell it hurts - why didn't anyone warn me?) from the beauty lady who is just GREAT!!!

Actually it was only semi-permanent and has pretty much already faded - as the girls at school love to point out... "Miss... you're going grey again already!"...

Semantic note: how can something be "semi-permanent"? That must be "fairly" unique!:)
