Choc said:this is the name of a (fairly) new hairdressers / beautysalon outside herne hill station.
it looks quite cool from the outside propably as their name is meant to suggest.![]()
i just had my leg hair waxed there and she did a really clean and fast job. i can really recommend it. full leg is £25 half is £17.
has anyone had their hair cut there yet?
men £20
woman £30
not exactly cheap but seems to be competative with london prices.

I work for a shoe company, we get a lot of odd shoes, I was thinking she could be one of our models.

good to hear that, I'm off there later this weekChoc said:however the lady in there does the waxing really fast and professionally.![]()

BrixiSteve said:Stupid stupid name. Who do they think they are appealing to? Personally I think that 'Murder me' or perhaps 'High Street Massacre' are also very apt names (esp. in this day and age) for a hairdresser. Tossers.![]()
I cant beleive you people have nothing better to do than to talk so angrily about a name. The 1st shop was called ShotGun in Gypsy Hill and was named after that song from the 60's and the theme then was a western cowboy one. Then yes it reopened in Herne Hill as Shotgun reloaded. As for the haircuts... well The main Stylist Sean is an amazing Stylist who always gets it right and has worked with some famous names. Im a client that used to go to there. I live way to far now. So now Im really annoyed that everyone is like going on about the name. How many stylist's do you know who isn't in Central London who does celebrity's, Afro hair, European hair, Colouring and every other god damn thing. As for the price.. This aint a toppers £5.00 hair cut! Ask before you judge you bunch of pre ejaculated cum shots.....
Crispy said:Woah! Bump from the past or what!
PS: If you're going to get that excited about the reaction to a hair dresser's name, I'd take some deep deep breaths before reading the rest of the boards.
'pre ejaculated cum shots' LOL

do you know of a cheaper, decent hairdresser in the area, then?wurlycurly said:My girfriend had her hair done in there and thought it was vastly over-priced pre-ejaculated cum shot. I went in and sat down to wait for her and thought the guy's tedious chat was even worse than that. Pretentious, wanky nonsense for pretentious wanky people. Oh, and Shotgun Reloaded is clearly the most absurd shop name on the planet

for girls, orang - i don't know anywhere cheaer for girls (that's any good).Orang Utan said:If it cost more than a tenner, it ain't worth it

£30 for a woman's haircut is pretty good, ime.
i've had excellent haircuts there - the first a full restyle. But seriously, I'd be interested in knowing of any hairdressers (for european hair) in brixton that you can recommend which are cheaper.wurlycurly said:There are certainly better, cheaper, less wanky hairdressers in Brixton. I think Shotgun Reloaded (woo-hoo!) styles your hair and lightly trims it in preperation for a night out, rather than actually cutting it properly so you don't need shorn for a while. If Herne Hill was full of footballers' wives it would be a winner. It ain't and it ain't

I really like that they don't ever seem to need to use products or straigthners in the blowdry either. Hardly footballers' wives...![]()

ah, well - the search for a good, reasonably priced hairdresser for non-afro hair in the area is quite longstanding.wurlycurly said:I'm a guy and I use Trevor's next door for a tenner a pop, so I can't really advise on Brixton hairdressers that may or may not be better than Shotgun Reloaded (woo-hoo, edgy!).
