Shoes on? Shoes Off?

Well, I take them off when I put my feet on the sofa...

That might sound expected but I know people who don't.

But anyway, hence my trainers can usually be found next to the sofa in the lounge.

We don't have particuarly nice floors though.

I take mine off but purely for comfort/relaxation purposes, so I'm not fussed if other people don't. Unless their shoes are covered in mud or something.

I grew up on a farm, so it was shoes off if there's more than about an inch of mud on your soles.

Usually eat around 8pm we take it in turn to cook, towels are neatly folded in the airing cupboard.

I always take my shoes off unless I'm going to be leaving the house again in under 5 minutes. Shoes in the house just feel wrong. Don't mind if others leave them on though; Mr K tends to wear his all the time, which baffles me...but then, he's less of a curl-up-and-fidget-on-the-seat type person. I'm always fidgeting about when seated and tend to sit on one foot/both foot/have legs crossed/feet up/sit on one foot again. In fact, when I worked in London the first thing I did on arriving at the office was take my shoes off.
