These new brand of politicans are Definatley green - Like a fuckin Chameleon, they can be whatever colour you want them to be

'correct' and 'quite easy' in that sentence show the deep down contempt for people at the heart of the SWP project. awful stuff, and indicative, not just Udo's unfortunate choice of words, but of the whole "democractic centralist" outlook.

I think thats why people who consider themselves Left need to look closely not only at the SWP but at anything that is tainted by association with a Top down approach to Socialism.

The contempt for ordinary peoples views and aspirations goes a lot lot deeper than just the few people in the SWP.

By "correct" he could mean solutions that solve thier problems as opposed to ones which fail or make their problems worse.

By "quite easy" he may be referring to the whole ideological apparatus which effects all our lives and has a massive influence on the whole nature of the political debate. To dismiss its impact is plain silly.

On the other had he may have meant something completely different and they weren't the best words to choose.

What's this whole green thing about? Does it suggest a shift to the left? Is it just a fad?

No mate. I think the complete opposite has happened, since 7/7/05 the UK has swung very much to the right, with the exception of the leader of HM’s Opposition. In fact we are probably further to the right than at any time since 1939.
