I get squeamish with prawns :(

:(

I have to admit that for all my confidence in the prawn shelling department ( :cool: ) I've never got on with their eyes - little dried up raisiny things <shudder> - but I just do my best not to make eye contact :cool: or touch them... :eek:

<wriggles and shivers>

I've tried and failed :( Now I need to find a prawn cleaner and sheller :D

Are the shells edible then? I always quick fry my peeled uncooked king size tigers from Waitrose in garlic oil then serve with a crusty big loaf and garlic mayo :). Bugger me they are expensive though :confused: . Now and then I stock up with massive cheap bags from Wing Yip. :)

I can even peel them so that all the juicy stuff from the head remains in tact (apart from the bright red thing which you can't eat....the stomach? :confused: .....)
