You would have thought they would have learnt their lesson from the Respect debacle, but no, still eager to suck up to the most reactionary elements of poltical Islam.
I have little time for the Schactmanite Trotskyist politics of the AWL, but really, when someone has a viewpoint you disagree with, you disagree and debate, not censor in a violent manner, or back those reacting in that way. (i.e. Muscle in, rip down and stamp on their poster)
Presumably the SWP and like minds do not agree with calls for the destruction of Israel and the "sweeping of Israelis into the sea", the policy of many of the extreme Islamists they suck up to - therefore presumably they would agree to opposing both the IDF and Hamas. So their support for this action, as ever, is sheer unprincipled political opportunism and hypocrisy, their stock in trade.
