I bet he'd been going through some pretty intense training in the run up tho When my bro-in-law found out that Lil'FA had walked before his son (born on the same day would you believe), he had the poor little sod in a kind of babywalking boot camp for the weekend. I see years of therapy ahead for that child (and his dad too I suspect)

oh definately - thing is hugo's been doing this insane standing up from cross legged without using his hands or arms, just through the power of his legs - since he was about 9 months - we all thought that would be it. But no, he'll stand there indefinately, then he'll gracefully sit back down again.

of course he's mucky (and snotty and dribbly) - he's a one year old. I think the shirt had been on about 15 minutes. he'd been eating strawberries, and bruchetta-type-thingies.

Well, here are some of my lovely son when he was little (I wasn't on urban then, twas 1998, so I'll pretend he's still little for a couple of minutes). He was an early walker, at around 10 months (which resulted in him falling and cutting his face badly at 11 months: if only he had waited a little longer!)

He used to eat books at that age, he's about to bite 'The Lady and The Tramp' on that one:
