Ooooohhhh, I used to adore that cut back in the late 70's / early 80's. Only ever seen it since at scooter rallies on women who are, like me, now terminally middle aged.

So I say go for the female skinhead style, however be prepared for the glassy-eyed look of nostalgic lust from middle-aged men, a frightening prospect I imagine, not aided by the constant offers for you to have a quick butchers at their "2-Tone seven incher"...

I had no idea it had a name... tbh I think a lot of folk saved cash by doing their hair themselves or having mates do it, and the skinhead girls looked like they were no different just leaving it long on fringe and back, and often home bleaching those long bits which remained.
