Innit, Ruby... are you sure you can't make it on the Thursday?? :(

I've just joined a new band and we've got practice on Thursdays, but that was my choice since I thought nothing much happened on Thursdays. Ever since, people have not stopped asking me to do things on Thursdays. So I may have to change it.

Hey - can I come? I can't knit, but am excellent at wine and gossip - surely that evens things out? I may consider the knitting thing - haven't tried since I was a child, so maybe I need to get back on that horse....

Definitely come!! Haven't seen you since jamming together!!

It'd be the perfect time to get nutty about knitting or hooked on crocket! :D (I reckon I should get a job writing local newspaper headlines!)

Ok, done. My Ma sends me at least 2-3 crocheted scarves and hats each year - she's very crafty. Think this is why I'm so useless, I'm using her crochet as a crutch.... you can't have too many scarves though, right?
Look fwd to seeing you guys then!

Oh, that's right - GG - can you perchance bring me some jam, or does someone else have my share - pieeye? I've been most remiss in collecting it so wouldn't be surprised if it has been eaten by now.. :D

But it has her name on it

I still have quite a few jars (possibly one with a star on ;))... so can bring that along... will take me years to get through all my jam anyway :D

I've got quite a bit of the gooseberry one left (although I don't think any starred ones) I'll bring one for Roobs!

Does this mean you might be able to come next Thursday? :)

I don't know - music has to come first really.

I think it might be wise to check that everyone is ok with a craft club outing that involves spending more money than usual.

No but if we go out to dinner it will be between £3 and £10 depending on what each individual eats.

This is hardly going to be our last S&B though so if we don't go this time we can always go another time if anyone is unhappy with it.

I don't have a problem with the shop visit!! I just hadn't noticed where we were going so Ruby's post didn't make sense - I like Bonningtons!

I have to say I do resent the implication that I hadn't checked with others.. I thought I made it perfectly clear that it could be either at the shop or at mine. It's really quite hard to keep everyone happy with these things and I do think I try my hardest to do so. If anyone doesn't want to kick up a fuss on the thread there's always pms!

:o :( sorry - was being gormless, not critical GG. I'm happy to do what's arranged :)

I wasn't aiming that at you!! plonker!! :D

This is getting silly now... can we just forget I ever mentioned the shop and the cafe.. it just seems to have caused problems. We'll be flinging balls of yarn at each other next!!

I'd quite like to go and visit the shop sometime. If anyone would like to come with let me know - otherwise I'll just go along by myself. I also happen to enjoy Bonningtons and wouldn't mind going there too if anyone else is up for it at some point.

A Bonnington visit would be good, but we must leave Hollis at home - he complains about the food  :D

Maybe I should organise one - but not a massive one like - how many went on the last visit?

Happy to go to yours next week.

Also keen to visit the shop soon too (and Bonningtons) just let me know when you're up for it :)
