No way. Kick Off 2 was the proper article; where skill and tactical awareness were rewarded, and the speed of the game was a real factor.

Sensi was the effete, glove-wearing namby-pamby pub-league substitute of the two, where marginally talented joystick-toting hoofers could have the ball stick to their feet like Velcro to an tatty jumper whilst traipsing around the pitch like old men with lumbago.

I knew one of the bloke behind sensible had joined Codemasters, this might be the tipping point behind me buying my first ever console.

It's the best footy game ever - the way you can build moves up, pass it around,the aftertouch.

The fact that some of you prefer to play a game that best resembles football played by arthritic turtles with sticky feet rather than the mighty bounciness and manic-style British footie action of Kick Off is neither here nor there...

I'll check on Kick-off 2 for the amiga but I've hated most KO games I've tried (except 3, for some reason)
