Many self-employed women get by on less than £10,000 a year

Clearly their bosses are discriminating against them

I hope so. If I see one more 'Yay! Unemployment figures are down AGAIN' report on the news I may not be responsible for my actions. I'd dearly love to know how many people are 'encouraged' into becoming self-employed each month for a start.

I don't understand why they're pushing this if they turn around and tell everyone part time or s/e who aren't earning enough they'd be better off unemployed. What's that going to achieve?
can't help thinking this is going to change and change again before anything happens. It may end up a glorified version of JSA.
