it's fair to say that the Liverpool of 70's/80's,Real madrid of the 50's,Ajax of the 70's,Milan of the 80's/90's,and Bayern munich of the 70's,are widelly regarded as the greatest ever 5 club sides.
so my question would be:what is the 6th greatest ever club side,after those
"big 5" I mentioned?

the answer is obvious; honved 1950s. Honved were the hungarian army team basically, and the early 50s Honved side were the backbone and meat of the team that were - surely - the greatest team never to win the world cup; hungary, 1954. this was the side of; puskas, kocsis, czibor, hidegkuti, Bozsik, etc, a side of 'army officers' who prolly never fired a shot in anger in all their lives, but who played and trained together for 8 years solid.
and who, of course, made the England side look like blundering donkeys in 1953.
Two 'what ifs'; what if Gabriele Hanot had got things started, say, 5 years earlier? would honved have walked the European cup of '54?
'what if' there had been no uprising and brutal suppression in '56? would hungary and honved then continued to dominate, with Real madrid not winning one of those 5 european cups?
